Candido 50D has no remjet backing — it uses a modern anti-halation layer built directly into the emulsion, so there's nothing to strip or wash off and no residue. It's clean, lab-safe, and processed just like any other colour negative film in standard C-41, by any lab.

Shoot at box speed, ISO 50, in daylight. Like all Candido films, it rewards generous exposure — rating it at 25, or setting +1 exposure compensation, delivers richer colour and even better shadow detail. It can also be pushed to 100 or 200; just ask your lab for a 1 or 2 stop push.

Candido 50D is made for bright conditions, so indoors you'll need plenty of light, a wide aperture, or a tripod. It performs beautifully with flash and studio strobes. For low light and night photography, Candido 800 is the better choice.
