Our Story
It started in Portugal.
Long, dry, golden days — the kind that stretch out and blur into one another. Our founder, Harry, spent that summer with friends, and kept noticing the same thing: the moments worth keeping were the ones nobody was really capturing. Phones out, thumbs scrolling, a thousand near-identical shots that no one would ever look at twice.
He wanted something better. Not the cameras already sitting on the shelf — old, disposable, and somehow still stuck in the nineties. He wanted something new, something you would be glad to pull out of your bag.
This was the beginning of Candido Collective.

Shooting analogue changes the way you see. You have to slow down, look at what is actually in front of you, and decide the moment matters before you press the shutter.
A hot, gravelly beach in Marbella. The half-second before you hit the crystal-clear water off the back of a boat in Croatia. A Sunday afternoon with your friends that you had no idea you would want back one day. That is what we are here for — the moments that deserve more than a scroll.

What began as a few cameras, and then rolls of film, is only the start. We are growing, and we will keep making things designed to bring you more of these moments.
