Candido 800 has no remjet backing — it uses a modern anti-halation layer built directly into the emulsion, so there's nothing to strip or wash off and no residue. It's clean, lab-safe, and processed just like any other colour negative film in standard C-41, by any lab.

Shoot at box speed, ISO 800, for the classic Candido look. For even richer shadow detail, rate it at 500 or set +1 exposure compensation. And it pushes further than anything else in the range — to 1000, 2000, or even 4000; just ask your lab.

It's balanced for artificial light, so in daylight use an 85 filter with your meter at ISO 320 for natural colour, or shoot unfiltered for a cool, cinematic blue cast you can correct or keep in scanning. For a dedicated daylight film, choose Candido 400 Classic.
